An Unsuccessful Experiment
Continuing on the environmental theme of this issue, An Unsuccessful Experiment refers to single use plastic bags. These convenient but not so innocent little carriers, have proved to be a nemesis to our environment. With 5 trillion plastic bags used per year, and 300 million of them ending up in the ocean and consequently in our food chain, the need for a global ban of non biodegradable single use plastics is an obvious “no brainer”.
