Olympians

The project is based on the Olympic pictograms. I sourced vintage equipment to create photos based on each pictogram. I wanted them to have an old school aesthetic akin to old documentaries about the Olympic Games. I tried to capture the movement of the sports so there is lot of motion and energy in each photo. I decided to do artistic nudes as this is reminiscent of the ancient olympians. I also took references from sculptures like Discobolo.
