We are introducing our cover model George-Emmanue Kastanas.
Born and raised in Athens, this up and coming Greek/Nigerian model, loves all sports, particularly basketball and boxing.
Now at the age of 20, he is on his 3rd year at the University of Patras Greece, studying Business Administration and Marketing.
He was scouted on Instagram and for the past two years is represented by VnModels.

When did you start modelling?
I’ve been a model for almost 3 years now, since approx 2017.
Who are the models you aspire to?
My Model idols are Addis Miller and Ebby Brown
What would be your dream modelling job?
A campaign for NIKE, to walk for and collaborate with High Fashion Brands and appear in editorials and on magazine covers internationally.
In an industry that is based on appearances, how do you handle negative comments and rejection?
It’s well know that criticism can make you a better person and can help improve your work. Of course it has to be constructive criticism and not just negative comments. No-one is perfect, and there is always room for improvement.
In the world of Fashion and Modelling every designer, every photographer, and company, have their own taste and opinions,. You can’t take it personally, if you get rejected. The only thing you can do, is to say thank you and move on.
Tell us something we wouldn’t know by looking at your portfolio.
Everyone of my shoots has been unique, some are more artistic, some more commercial and others are more personal and intimate. However one thing that you can’t tell by looking at my portfolio and was a secret up to now, is that before every shoot I dehydrate, avoiding water and liquids for two days!
Do not try it at home.
Do you recycle?
I was brought up with eco-conscious sensibilities, so I’ve been recycling since forever.
What’s your view on the environmental crisis we are facing?
It will be a long time before these two mentalities cease to exist: racism and environmental ignorance….
Unfortunately even in 2020, a basic eco conscious way of living is not 100% integrated in our societies.
If every individual and every business treated the environment as they do with their own home, I truly believe that in a few years things will take a positive spin.
